Finding the ‘why’…

It’s crazy how things ‘shake down’ at times.

Things we never expected to happen do. Things we never dreamed of fall in our laps. Then sometimes, we struggle and struggle for our ‘reward’. Often times, even though we fight and put in a lot of energy… it fails.

I. Don’t. Get. That.

We can’t say that hard work isn’t rewarding, because often times it ends up being good. But we can’t escape the fact some of our effort is in vain.

You see… it doesn’t matter ‘what’ we do…

….it doesn’t matter ‘when’ (because God controls the time anyway)…

but what matters is ‘why’.

Finding the ‘why’ is at our heart’s core. It’s the motivation and driving force that compels us to do whatever it is we do. It’s the red dot on the map that says ‘you are here’ and shows you where to go. So today, I challenge you to find and know your ‘why’.
